The concept of facets of work has emerged in order to contribute to create more knowledge and deeper, more evocative ideas for Systems Analysis and Design (SA&D), Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Modelling. Thus, it broadens the scope of them and enhance designer interactions with stakeholders.
Steven Alter’s speech “Facets of work: A new approach for making established research knowledge more useful for visualizing and designing IT-reliant systems” will address the idea of facets of work which enables valuable guidance in projects and is also pertinent in brainstorming about digital transformations and digital innovation.
Dr. Alter developed the Work System Method (WSM), which is a systems analysis and design method for business professionals in order to help them collaborate more effectively with IT professionals, consultants and vendors.
We are looking forward to the presentation of Dr. Alter who has immense experience both as an academician and the former vice president of a software start-up and the author of seven published books and numerous journals.
